The original statue is made of painted wood, glass, cord and human hair. Francisco de Zurbarán's painting of the same name from 1640 possibly inspired this sculpture. Created in 1663 it had never left the Toledo Cathedral until the National Gallery of Art's "The Sacred Made Real: Spanish Painting and Sculpture, 1600-1700" exhibition from February through May 2010.

Items must be opened and inspected within 48 hours of delivery to report any damage.
