1414-1421 Fragment from the relief of the "Assumption of the Virgin" over the Porta Mandorla, one of the doors of the Duomo Cathedral. The relief is a wonderful mix of Gothic and Renaissance elements with the main relief composed of eleven sections of marble. This relief was the last major work from Nanni di Banco and is thought to have been finished by Luca Della Robbia after Banco's death.
